Jessica T. Ango
Dr. Jessica T Ango is a Public Health Physician and health systems strengthening specialist with over 14 years’ progressive experience supporting the Government of Nigeria to plan, implement and evaluate interventions to strengthen national and sub-national health systems. She has variously supported ministries, departments, and agencies at federal and state levels to rapidly scale-up the design and delivery of quality, high-impact integrated and gender responsive reproductive, maternal, newborn and child and adolescent health including routine immunization (RI), plus nutrition and Malaria (IRMNCAH+NM) services, and handling public health emergencies, strengthening surveillance and response for priority diseases. Jessica has vast experience working with a wide range of donors including USAID, UNICEF and PLAN International which has given her the opportunity to hone her skills in planning, implementation, tracking and reporting of Public Health interventions as well as donor relations.
Her academic qualifications include Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Fellow West African College of Physicians in Community Health, Master of Public Health and Certificate in Global Health Project Management from the University of Washington.
